The room for your event or meeting can have a big impact overall. It sets the stage for the action to take place. Here are some tips to follow when selecting your meeting room.
1. Space – Will everyone be able to fit easily in the room? Is it easy to set up tables, chairs, a stage and any audio-visual equipment you may need?
2. Lighting – How much control do you have over the room lighting? Can you set the lighting yourself to reflect what you are trying to accomplish easily? For example, darkening for images on a projected screen.
3. Room Capacity – Find out the maximum capacity of the room, and be careful not to exceed it. Make sure you have room for a stage or platform if needed.
4. Add Ons – Find out if the room has extras that you might need for your meeting and whether or not you will be charged for them. These can be things like water and glasses, extension cords, notepads and pencils, tablecloths, audiovisual equipment and more.
