I did watch the 2009 Grammy Awards and I thought it was a great show. The performances were especially interesting as they paired some of the up and coming talent with older and more established acts to create an unforgettable musical experience. In case you didn’t already hear about it, Chris Brown and Rihanna cancelled their performances at the Grammys at the last minute which forced producers to find a replacement. Justin Timberlake and Al Green to stepped in and provided a much needed performance in order to fill that time slot. This provides an important lesson, which is always hope for the best and prepare for the worst. When you book any type of entertainment, be sure that in the contracts there is protection in case the performer cannot make it and that the entertainment company will provide another performer of similar caliber. This helps prevent major emergencies, after all, you do not have the benefit of an arena full of superstar performers to choose from like the Grammy awards.
